Rooted in Five Element Chinese medicine, every treatment is tailored to you — because no two people are the same.

A note on what Annmarie focuses on

Annmarie does not offer musculoskeletal or sports injury treatment — this is a deliberate choice, not a limitation. Her expertise lies in the deeper, systemic work of Five Element Chinese medicine: the kind that transforms health from the inside out. If you're looking for sports acupuncture or back pain treatment, she is happy to point you in the right direction.

When the body cannot rest — or cannot stop — Chinese medicine looks to the underlying imbalance. Whether you are exhausted but wired, or simply depleted, Annmarie will work to rebuild your reserves gently and sustainably.

Can include

  • Insomnia and broken sleep
  • Exhaustion and burnout
  • Wired but tired feeling
  • Difficulty switching off
  • Post-illness fatigue

06. General Wellness

You don't need to be suffering to benefit from acupuncture. Many of Annmarie's patients come simply to maintain their wellbeing — seasonal tune-ups, energy support, or to invest in their long-term health.

Can include

  • Seasonal health maintenance
  • Energy and vitality
  • Immune support
  • General stress reduction
  • Long-term preventive care
Your session

What to expect

First session (75 mins)

A full health history, questions about your life and constitution, and the beginning of a picture of you that goes well beyond the presenting complaint. Treatment begins in the same session.

Follow-up sessions (60 mins)

Follow-ups allow Annmarie to refine and deepen the treatment based on how you have responded. Most patients notice a meaningful shift within three to four sessions.

How often?

For acute or longstanding conditions, weekly sessions are recommended at first. As things improve, fortnightly or monthly maintenance is common — with many patients continuing seasonal check-ins long term.

Pricing

First session £60 · Follow-up sessions £55. A 48-hour cancellation policy applies.
